KID'S ICE FISHING DERBY

Business After Hours (03/30) The March BAH is hosted by Salmon River Industries (Airport Rd) and Salmon Human Services and Solutions (527 Main) at both locations. Refreshments in town and decadent desserts at SRI! Support Chamber Business After Hours - a great program!

April 2004
Easter Egg Hunt (04/10) The Annual Salmon Easter Egg Hunt is put on each year by the Rotary Club. The much anticipated hunt is looked forward to by every child in town. Arrive early because it begins at 10am sharp and is over very quickly. Easter Bunny too!
Chamber Open Forum (04/14) The first annual Chamber Open Forum night is an attempt to bring member businesses together to give the Chamber Board of Directors direction. Survey results will be given. Free Baked Potato Bar, drinks and desserts. Any business is welcome!

Salmon Select Horse Sale (04/16) The 32nd Annual Salmon Select Horse Sale is the major spring economic event in Lemhi County! 130 horses are consigned to the Sale. Action starts early, commercial booths open at 1pm, Mule Sale starts at 7pm, with a Calcutta at 10pm at the Shady Nook.

Rocky Mountain Shindig (04/16) Sponsored each year by the local Levis and Lace Square Dance Club, the Rocky Mountain Shindig draws square dancers from all around!

Salmon Select Horse Sale (04/17) ...Second day of event. Sat. morning is the Ranch Horse Competition followed by the performance showing of sale horses, 4H Stallion Service Auction and at last, the Horse Sale!! Contact Fred Snook, Sale Manager at 208-756-2125 for info.

Rocky Mountain Shindig (04/17) This annual springtime event draws square dancers from all around! The Rocky Mountain Shindig is sponsored each year by the Levis and Lace Square Dance Organization.

Business After Hours (04/19) EISSA Head Start hosts this month's Chamber Business After Hours at their location 31 Hwy 93 N. Celebrating "The Week of the Young Child," Head Start invites you to play with them for an evening and forget your worries. Refreshments will be served.

Community Talent Show (04/23) The second annual Salmon Community Talent Show is sponsored ea. year by the Senior Class, the proceeds helping with their graduation night celebration, The Senior Sober. Community Members perform and compete for cash prizes. Please support this cause.

"The Mane Event" (04/24) Each year, Whitewater Therapeutic Riding Association sponsors The Mane Event and this year they are partnered with Salmon Hockey to present "Casino Night." Both groups say the evening promises to be a fun-filled extravaganza!

HIGH SCHOOL RODEO

Business After Hours (05/20) Geertson Creek Trail Rides will host The Salmon Chamber's May's BAH. Just 7 miles from town, Val & Verdell Olson are anxious to show you their operation. Have BBQ Pork sandwiches & take a tour of the original homestead cabin after dinner!

Salmon ID Gun Show (05/22) The Salmon Idaho Gun Show will be held May 22&23 at the Lemhi County Fairgrounds from 9am - 5pm. Adult admission is $2 & children under 16 with an adult are free. Knives, scopes, ammo, rifles, reloading accessories & gun safes~ buy, sell, trade.

Parade of LIghts (11/26) The 8th Annual Parade of Lights is always the kick-off to the Holiday Season in our valley. The parade begins at 6pm and is followed by the lighting of the Community Christmas Tree and various events and activities. Don't miss it!
